All-Around Exam Preparation
Programme Description
This programme has one paramount objective and that is to prepare students for the HKDSE examination. Students will work on examination-oriented materials and learn how to answer questions effectively. Emphasis will be placed on honing the examination techniques as well as the corresponding subject knowledge.
EFI’s HKDSE preparation programme follows a tried and tested model which includes providing many opportunities to students to fully experience the examination mechanics, helping students to fully recognise their strengths and weaknesses, and supporting them to tackle their weakness through effective teaching. Students will practice and further practice until they are secured with the knowledge they need for the examination and feel confident in themselves and in the examination.
The programme covers all four skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking; and uses tailor-made materials which follow the examination format.

The Territory-wide System Assessment (TSA) is an assessment administered at the territory level. It facilitates assessment for learning by providing schools with objective data on students’ performances in the three subjects of Chinese Language, English Language and Mathematics at the end of Key Stages 1-3. The Territory-wide System Assessment reports and school reports provide information about students’ strengths and weaknesses against specific Basic Competencies. They help schools and teachers to enhance their plans on learning and teaching. The territory-wide data also help the Government to review policies and to provide focused support to schools.
EFI’s TSA preparation programmes tackle the weaknesses identified by the previous years’ TSA results and provide targeted solutions and support to help students improve their language skills, be better trained and be better prepared for the assessment. These programmes use tailor-made materials which are both well-structured and practical aiming to give students maximum benefits.
